JuergenG
Even the Police says so. Below link leads to the Massachusettes Municipal Police Training Committee's training material for the Basic Firearms Instructor Course, Patrol Rifle. The document explains why the police “patrol rifle” (AR-15, etc.) is a “superior tool.” Most of the reasons it’s chosen by police would seem to also apply to civilians who choose it as a home defense firearm. The most relevant information is to be found in pages 1-7 and 25-27. Enjoy! http://www.mlefiaa.org/files/MPTC_NEWS/Patrol_Rifle_Student_Manual_2010.pdf
joker_ch
Shootout at Inkster tax preparation business caught on camera Once again gun control moonbats will stand up against the truth...... I'm not convinced that shooting blindly through a wall is in favor of an AR15. It was just by luck that no bystander was hurt. Joker
Tyr13
It is always hard to say, when all you have to analyze ist a few seconds of video. But it truly appears that the security guard dances around with his rifle an sprays roughly in the direction of the BG's while slipping an sliding around. While I comprehend adrenaline rush, it is not how I learned this is supposed to work, which is "sights are on that gun for a reason". The problem of overpenetration and backstop-damage is not necessarily worse with a 50 grs .224 Bullet than with a 124grs 9mm. Bottom Line: the armed citizen (yeah, he is called a security guard) did not make the situation worse by using his gun, however much we can quibble. And a crime was prevented, the perpetrators driven off. I would give it a 7.5 on a scale of 10. The Rifleman stops shooting after 2 shots at least. EJER Fuchs
Fool with an AR-15. He should have had a double-barreled shotgun and fired it in the air. So sayeth our enlightened VP; ballistics and weapons expert Biden: http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/vp-tells-ar-15-assault-rife-fans-buy-shotgun-article-1.1268084 The man is an embarrassment. Guest
Let's see how this story continues... if the suspects just end as thousands of other arrested thugs, or having their 15 minutes at the court - if they get caught... Is a tax preparation center comparable with our studied tax consultants in Germany? Or more like the "Lohnsteuerhilfeverein"?
JuergenG
More two-faced stuff: Once Uncle Sam solicits for quotations for "Personal Defense Weapons". https://www.fbo.gov/?s=opportunity&mode=form&id=d791b6aa0fd9d3d8833b2efa08300033&tab=core&_cview=0 This announcement is being placed in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) paragraph 5.207. It is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items. 5.56x45mm NATO, select-fire firearm suitable for personal defense. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and proposals are being requested. See attachments for complete details. Exact same thing they name "Assault Weapons" they don't want in the hands of The People. Talk about bigotry......
