don't worry -- as hoplophobic anti-gun legislation is gaining power, all of us will sooner or later be affected. Thus, I do believe we all should (and I hope we will) try to contribute as much as individually possible to our cause of keeping guns in the hands of good people legal.

As long as they'd post about MA, NJ or NYC it would not be too much of a difference to what we are accustomed.

NH, VT, TX, FL, AZ laws are of course alien to us.

Not all states at the upper East Coast are restrictive, just look at NH (OK, only 18 miles of coastline),

ME and especially VT (no coastline at all).

As the new legislative session has started, a lot of new bills have been entered in MA again.

House Bill 665 is interesting! Coming from a Representative of Cambridge it's calling for more

restrictions of course.

Most interesting I found

"SECTION 6: Section 131K of Chapter 140 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out the first sentence and inserting in place thereof the following sentence:-

“All weapons as defined in section 121 including, but not limited to, firearms, large capacity weapons, rifles and shotguns sold within the commonwealth without a safety device designed to prevent the discharge of such weapon by unauthorized users and approved by the colonel of the state police including, but no limited to, mechanical locks or devices designed to recognize and authorize, or otherwise allow the firearm to be discharged by its owner or authorized user, by solenoid use-limitation devices, key activated or combination trigger or handle locks, radio frequency tags, automated fingerprint identification systems or voice recognition, provided, that such device is commercially available, shall be defective and the sale of such weapons shall constitute a breach of warranty under section 2-314 of chapter 106 and an unfair and deceptive trade act or practice under section 2 of chapter 93A.” "

As I said on ARFCOM, I'll be back CONUS on OCT22 for some R&R for 3.5 wks. :-) If you shoot me your cell no. I'll give you a holler when we get in town.

We'll be staying in Mesquite and Grand Prarie, but will be down in San Antonio for a couple of days too to see my cousin.

You are right. New Hamshires motto is "live free or die" anyway, so I don't think the govt. can take their guns. Vermont is pretty easy also, Pres. Obongo will have a hard time with the folks up there too. We'll see about MA., maybe it's time for a 2nd Boston tea party.... ;-)

I offer the same in the Houston region. I guess you can Dallas being in North TX already...
