LEGAL AFFAIRS INTERNSHIP
 
FACE is looking for a Legal Affairs Intern to join its ambitious team in Brussels. This 6-months paid internship offers a great opportunity for a motivated individual to gain experience of EU and international law and policy processes in an international public affairs environment.
 
We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, confident and professional. The ideal candidate should have some knowledge of EU law and policy-making processes and be quick to learn in new areas. He or she should be passionate about the work we do at FACE to promote sustainable hunting and conservation in Europe.  
 
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

 

- Monitoring and researching EU law and policy, especially in the domain of the environment; animal welfare and health; food safety; agriculture; international wildlife trade; firearms and ammunition
- Preparing written reports, briefings and opinions concerning the abovementioned topics
- Attending internal and external meetings with members and other stakeholders

Good command of both written and spoken English is required. Additional European language(s) would be a strong asset.
 
Responsibility: In this role, you will work under the supervision of the Director of Legal and Public Affairs to provide legal and policy monitoring, research and support.
                                                                                                                                        
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Terms: Six months; remunerated
Reports to: Director of Legal and Public Affairs
Starting date: As soon as possible
